Thanks for the comments guys. I finally got the bed painted today. I ran out of clear after 2 coats yesterday, so I decided to scuff it down today and add another couple of coats. Now the buffing begins. Here are a few pics from the paint booth.

Thanks David, but I kinda doubt I'll be done by then, I've still got alot to do. I was just talking to my sister about maybe going to Charlotte autofair though. If I get over that way I'll be sure to give you a shout.

The autofair is the first weekend in april, maggie valley in the first weekend in may, or did you mean the fall show? I'd love to see this thing in person!

I meant the one in April, but if I go, I won't have my truck with me. My sister lives in Kannapolis, and the weekend of the autofair would be a great time for a visit.

Thanks! I made the fuel filler myself. I saw a couple that were similar and decided to try it. I hope it works as good as it looks.

Thanks! I finally got some time to work on it so I changed the front to disc with 2.5 drop spindles and stock springs. I rebuilt the suspension while I was at it with all new joint, bushings, & shocks.
