Re: Raising the bed floor 67cheby
i would love to see it , i am open to ideas, my only idea was to take out some more right under the bed(this way i dont have to cut in the center and around the tubs where a majority of the work had been done) rail basically bringing the top of the fenders up to the bed rail. post yours if you would Thanks

Re: 67cheby DM 3.2 install, W/PB 4link, PB hood hinges
I like em, I had an unexpected meeting out of town yesterday but I have yours boxed up and in my truck I will get them out today, I forgot how heavy these things were. I will send you info later today on shipment.
Thanks Dave

Re: 67cheby DM 3.2 install, W/PB 4link, PB hood hinges
Have you decided if you are going to run front inner fenders? If so, what are you planning on using?
BTW, what tires are you running? Sizes?

Re: 67cheby DM 3.2 install, W/PB 4link, PB hood hinges
i bought some grant custom tubs with one side welded up, my plan is to weld them into the factory fenders where they will still bolt in ?? i will have to get it mocked up to see if it looks ok ,just trying to get it setting right before i know how to set up my inner fenders

Re: Raising the bed floor 67cheby
if you use some nicely flamed marineply and make some grooves in with a router put metal/brass/chromed strips in the grooves and screw them to the wood with small woodscrews it looks just like a normal wood bed you can even put it over the original metal floor and put a little angle iron on it near the rearhatch, when you clearcoat and polish it it looks like the floor of a home . it would make creating a step eazier too since the ply can support its own weight is one solid piece you can bevel and gleu together and doesnt sag like seperate planks would without support

Re: Raising the bed floor 67cheby
Thats gonna be a killer ride! Got some good ideas on the bed, too.. Can't wait to see it when done. I may even have to swing up to NWA to see it.. give me an excuse to visit some old friends, too (and make some new ones!)
