Re: I married the most amazing woman!
For those not following my "build thread" (where I'm actually just updating and do minor things right now) here's a couple OLD pics. One is my first vehicle and beloved '70 C/10 lwb getting ready to go to prom. The other is me practicing my Luke Duke on my buddy's ole '70 charger. You can see why I love those turbine wheels so much now!
Ah....the good ole days.

Re: I married the most amazing woman!
Awesome, congrat's on the truck and the new wife!
And I thought I was blessed to have a wife that not only tolerates, but joins in on the hobby, but she never bought me a truck. And we didn't get a chance to get pics with my 67, since it was disassembled when we got married, but she did get a bridal portrait with my 01. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f4...tsEdits254.jpg

Re: I married the most amazing woman!
Thats awesome, when i told my girlfriend i was looking for a truck she didnt understand why a "older one" like that so i told her the story of how i grew up ridding in them and she didnt understand why they had sentimental value to me and the first few trucks i looked at she thought was ugly until i came upon the one i ended up buying and i brought it home and she still wasnt to thrilled about the idea but not negative either until our first actual date(we were together over a year and a half by then but we never really went out for a date yet), we ended up just driving around randomly in the truck around town just going slow while she sat right next to me and we were holding hands and then after that the truck had sentimental value to her and she started to understand why i wanted it and what it ment to me, specially after her nephew loved it and we ended up sitting the in the truck for a while while he played with everything he could reach. After that he couldnt stop talking about it and now we call it our truck and this summer when i upgrade it were going to do it together.
I know its a long story but just goes to show just because it doesnt mean anything to someone yet it easily can. You stole my ideas of the wedding photos they look great! Glad to see she sees why you likes these trucks

Re: I married the most amazing woman!
Just wondered if anyone even looked at this thing anymore!? We just bought a house and I recently got Copper in his new home! Will begin a full teardown rebuild soon. Follow that on the build thread. Here's a couple pics.

That's a nice spacious spot for your Copper. Wish my garage was that big! Will be watching the build also.

Re: I married the most amazing woman!
Thanks guys. Well, it looks nice in the pics, but up close the clear coat is peeling, it's got some dents, suspension needs overhauled, and my front seal is blown in the tranny. So work to be done, and I'm picky anyway. Really wanna get this thing the way I've always dreamed.
