[ picture 1 ] This is prior to taking my '67 to it's new home , It hadn't spent the night inside in over 24 years that I know . [ picture 2 ] It now lives in a nice big shop.

Breckinridge is nice in the fall too. We went through in September a few years back on the way to Frisco and Silverthorne. I don't remember the last time I went to the Royal Gorge and it's less than 20 miles from my house.

Re: finally stop to say hello.
I remember back in the middle 80s as a milk/ice cream delivery guy, I made a rather large Sureway grocery in Princeton Ky every Wednesday morning. The Asst. Mgr. of the store alternated driving a beautiful K5 almost exactly like yours and a super nice 69-70 swb. I always thought the Blazer was the one and I pulled in one AM and there was a "for sale" sign in it. Jumped out and ran over there. Of course I was 20 something, broke, young family and there was no way I could reach it. You know how those memories fester through the years. I love your K5.

Now that's more my style. On our western trip in the '71 camper truck we went up there on our way to 4-corners and the North Rim. Mesa Verde is no short hike for you. Quote:

Re: finally stop to say hello.
My Daughter and Granddaughters attended the Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals with me on Friday. I drove my Blazer and she took the '72 C10 I gave her 17 years ago for graduation from high school. Saturday I rode down with her while the girls stayed home with my Wife. Sunday my Wife and I took the Blazer back down. It is about 100mile round trip everyday so I was ready for a day of rest on Monday.
