On a serious note guys...
Any kind of addiction can be unhealthy- be it internet, alcohol, or whatever. I am a wife and know first hand what an addictive husband can be like... lonely, frustrating, self-asteem is low (you can never understand why they put thier addiction before you) and sometimes the relationship feels hopeless! For the addict unless they get help for the REASONS behind the addiction they will just move onto the next addiction...it will seem appropriate at first- "Now I am going to start working out honey" or "maybe I will take up golf", but the "ADDICT" will always go to far unless he figures out what is DRIVING him in the first place- Good luck Andy- and the lesson to be learned it to always put what is important to you first...hopefully for all of us that would be our families! Fine, you're just mad because his cab is cluttering up your place. Just kidding. Either way everyone here will miss having him around. Quote:

Life is all about balance: the things that you must do, the things you need to do, the things you should do, and the things you want to do. When that balance gets too far out of whack, it's good to have someone there that cares enough about you to pull you back a ways.
So it's time to take a step back and get a new perspective...and re-dedicate yourself to the things (and people) that are the most important in life. Good luck, Andy, and we all hope the best for you and yours. |

Good luck Andy (if you are reading this, lol )
I've had addiction problems myself too, for awhile i was making 20-30 posts a day. I was spending too much time on here, and my personal life suffered a little bit too. I am so glad i cut back, that much time spent on the computer was truly a waste. Half an hour or so a day like i have been doing latley is good though Plus i have been using the spare time to make money.....50-60 hours a week of work keeps be busy and my wallet full, lol. Tell late August anyway....then i will be jobless again, and maybe spend some more time on here
