Thumbs up

Wow, that Camaro is awesome.
I love the Dodge too. Something about that funky design that borders on butt ugly and just plain cool. Oh yeah, for some reason I am attracted to butt ugly designs. I would buy one.

How about a video of one racing in the 1/8th mile against Parish's truck (the blue turbocharged 03 Silverado)?

That dodge looks like the old 50's power wagons. They need to redo the whole nose on it and make it look like those old power wagons too, and ditch the bullseye. IMO, one of the ugliest things invented.

Also, the craparo and vette are cool cars, but GM has a honey on their hands with the GTO. What they need to do, though, is to make a monte carlo, GTO and regal (or...bring back the GN?!?) and style them all like their heydey counterparts, 1971 monte, 1966 GTO, 1970's regal, 1987 GN, etc. They do that, and they'll sell a zillion of them.

Too bad it's too late to have a new H/O or 442...then again, it really wouldn't be a 442 anyway, would it? What, more like a 162 (1 bore throttle body, 6 speed tranny, dual exhaust)

havent you ever heard of friday night drags at the local strips? besides performance and handling isnt all about speed anyways. sometimes having an extra hundred horse can get you out of an accident. i respect your opinion and just giving mine that ford Sucks and id rather own a Chevy with no engine or drivetrain and drawn by horses than own a ford

Believe me I don't like Fords but I do like the 69-70 Mach I. The buck stops there.

NO doubt the most fab. F*** ever was the 69 Mach one. I have to admit my first car was a 68 fast back with a 289 that I could not kill. I broke every thing else though. The car had a fold down rear seat and a trap door to the trunk. Very handy for a teenager and drive ins. The snowy pic is what my first
car looked like even the same color. I agree that my favorite F*** is the soixante-neuf Mach One.

Off topic but I just had to comment I never have been a die hard follower of any brand, I typically drive whatever I can get a good deal on when I need a car, I do try and buy American made if possible but it's getting nowadays where American made is kinda misleading anyway, look at those mitsubishi made Dodges and the Toyota made Chevys and so on. Of course OLD American made is good Best car I ever owned was an 87 Dodge Dakota, it had that pitiful little 4 cylinder motor but I got it at 60K and sold it at 180K and the only major repair I ever did was a rebuilt tranny ($260) and a new clutch ($300). All the car manufacturers have good and bad cars, Ford Pinto and others spring to mind, no company is immune from dropping a stink bomb from time to time, and no company is unable (in my opinion) to put out some fine cars too.

Cudas, 57 Chevys, Chevy trucks from 60s until 83, Chevelle, Nova, early Mustangs, etc etc etc so on there are quite a few cars from all of the big 3 I'd love to own.

I guess much like how folks around here can end up in fist fights over arguments about why Alabama or Auburn is the better football team, I just don't understand it I'm for whoever has a chance to represent Alabama in a title, whether that's an Eagle or an Elephant is irrelevant to me.

it was the way i was raised. if it gotta be an import (for gas reasons) Honda Acura, and if its a truck its gotta be Chevy. new suv would be a tahoe, burb or if i have the money denali, escalade. its the way it always has been for me and probably always will. i will say that mustangs arent bad but i would only own one long enough to sell it. i used to work at a dealership in portland that sold fords and i was a lot attendant so i drove every make and model of the 2000 fords. v6 v8 cobra saleen. all fast but i just couldnt get comfortable in the drivers seat and didnt like the interior styling. and the f 250 350s are a PITA to park in a smaller parking lot. JMHO

The Japanese actually build a very reliable car. I've had my 94 for a long time and it has 190,000 on it and it still runs strong. The only money that I ever had to dump in that thing was for exhaust manifolds which ran me about a $1000. The rest IS JUST routine stuff, brakes, tires, bulbs, timing belt, a starter (at 160,000) etc....
I wouldn't think twice about buying an import over an American car because they have treated me so well. Now Japanese are building 8cyl power trucks to keep up with American vehicles. My brother in law always buys ford and it seems like he is always bringing his cars into the shop. I trust Chevy though because all of the Chevy's that I have owned (no newer than a 93) had strong motors but the bodies were for S#!t.

The new Mustang looks pretty cool,Glad to some style going back into hte design, even if it is 1967 in origin.
The new Vette looks like a Viper Wannabe IMO.
The Concept Camaro is OK not too exited about it.Too fluffy, and balloon looking,no clean distinct lines.
The Dakota looks similar to the Ford 350 TonkaHummer clones.
