A temp sender or a themol switch. I know on roush racing uses a controler thats like the fan switch under a refridgerator. a temp sender will run your battery dead. You need something like an idiot lite sender. Matt

PS temp senders for these trucks. Well you have to use the sender for your year for your gauge you cant miss and match. A sender for a 73 will show very hot in a newer truck, or is it the other way around. I have newer heads on my truck, difernt hole size for the sender I have a sender in each head wired to the gauge and thats the only way the gauge reads right. Matt
