I actually frenched the headlight rings into the fenders of my 47 Chevy with Bondo. I did it 13 years ago and they still haven't cracked!! (the car is no longer mine but I know the guy who owns it now)

Well, just because of this, I'll be sending you an order, Wes.

It really upsets me that people are so quick to judge. I'll admit, I'm guilty of it too, but I've learned to give the other person the benefit of the doubt until all the facts are known. Even though I know this, it's still hard to do! Some people want everything NOW and can't imagine why the world won't conform to their needs. This isn't a flame on the new guy, I'm speaking of people in general.

Thanks, Wes, for all your work on this board. Look for my order soon.

Paul

Wow, Thank you all again for standing up for me. It makes me feel great that I am appriciated. Not only for the parts that I offer, but the advise that I give.. Makes me proud to be a member of this community. A lot of you have been asking about the "Garden Truck" so I thought that I would post a couple of pictures of it for all of you. This was the result of 10 months of hard work. I think that it turned out great, but didn't realize so many people were watching the progress on it. If you have any questions please don't hessitate to ask, as anyone who knows me, knows that I like to talk about it. It has lots of features that I had been wanting to try out. Anyway here you go. WES

Wes, 1 question and one comment.

Q: Why did you turn that GMC into a "garden" variety, run of the mill, see them all day long Chevy?

C: You should refund that dudes money on account of all the free positive publicity you've gotten! TTT

J/K Wes, we all know you've earned your rep, and we can't all have good taste in grille configurations

Wes

Having only been recently back lately I noticed WES had not posted too often. When the board was first started I had the chance to meet Wes and spend some time with him and his family. I can definately say that WES is a standup guy and someone that I will always do business with. When I first went to WES's place he had all is parts stored in one bedroom. Now he has a big shop and a nice place to work out of. This tells me that he has a lot of happy customers.

Hey WES your missed around the board and I hope you can work something out with Josh.

Well lets see here... To answer #1, I have always prefered the look of the Chevy..lol But it also gave me the opertunity to show the fit and finish of a part that we sell. (You will also notice the name "Garden Truck", in reference to garden variety..hehe)
#2.. I PMed the guy to tell him that I will refund him fully if he wants to send me back the part. Still no responce back from him. (I don't like having unhappy customers)
As for the grill thing, well I'll leave that one alone...hehe.. Lets just say I have my fair share of those GMCs also.lol WES

Wes, 1 more question?

We had talked earlier about those late model wheels... I have a C-20, the offset looks so much better on your 4x. Did you use a spacer? If so how thick? Thanks.
Rich

I did not use a spacer. They are bolted directly to the hubs. What I had to do in order to use the center caps was to cut 3 5/8" holes in the center of them. Hope this helps. WES
