Pictures, lots of pictures so all of us can experience this project vicariously through Southern Mississippi. Many years ago I was stationed at Biloxi for tech school and I loved it.

I know where alot of minds are gonna go on this one, so let the obvious slide and lets deal with the dash. What are the thoughts on how to mount it from the back without showing any screwing from the front. Type of hardware, etc.

That yellow dash is nice!
I have heard of using a glove box door for the clusters as well and it looks great with the aftermarket gauges |

To mount, you could drill and tap some holes, then run studs in with lock-tite. Let it set up for a couple hours and it will be good to go. Since you would be using small bolts/studs, it would be difficult to tack them in place. Maybe with a TIG...

When I did my lights in the roll pan, I welded some small diameter bolts (like 3/16) on the back side and used the nuts with nylon inserts. Should be the same with the glove box door....since it is a two-layer piece. I just have to get my hands on a box door. I don't expect that this will be nearly as involved as you might think.

Cut the back out of a glove box door tonight and test fitted it. It looks pretty good, there was a 1/8" gap on the top and right side though. It might be necessary to cut the light switch ears off the dash for it to sit flush.

I want to weld studs on this one and paint it red with some black rubber trim around the edges. I am tired of the stainless look.
