I like them all too. Personally, like the 67' small back window BUT I will admit the larger window is easier to back out with. I think the 67 and 68 have a very "innocent" look in stock trim. It was like the truck matured by the time the 72' cheyenne rolled around. 71-72 factory cheyenne is very handsome. I like long and short beds. The only bed I don't care for is the long step side, it's like a bastard cousin but it doesn't take much to trade out beds and take care of that. My 2cents

I'm starting to lean toward the 67-68 front clips. Short fleet for the bed with 69-72 lower trim, 67-68 buckets, and 72 door panels... No joke

That's if I get another 67-72 pickup.

don't like the 71-72 so much.
don't like the 67 small window trucks.
love my '68.

wouldn't mind having a 69-70 also, the front grille looks wicked to me, but not as cool as the 68 with all chrome brows and emblems in place. it's a tough choice on what i'd pick for the best...probably my 68, but if i could have a 69-70 also, i'd take it.

Not everybody likes the fenderwell spare; good thing some of us do. Ideal for keeping yor spare while enjoying the below-bed gas tank swap (on my to-do list).

Of course, '68 rules IMO !!!!

Especially with later disk brakes.

my vote...?
Well 1st... 1967 Chevy because it was my first truck and it is the year I was born.
2nd... 1968 because its the year my wife was born...
I've always liked the hood and grille. They look faster to me...
And... don't all 67-70 now have disc brakes anyway? (LOL...)
Oh and... honorable mention... a white 72 longbox 4x4 here in town... Just looks so clean and tough...

I like the 67 and 68... I like the sloping hood front more than the square hood front.

I'm growing fond of the previous body style lately though. I didn't use to like them until I saw this...

'71-'72 Two-tone, blue and white, long fleet with stock stance. I feel in love with that truck in highschool when I drove passed one everyday, twice.

Next would probably be a '67 short step.

Even though I have a 70, I like the 67 the best. I like the grille treatement and the no side marker lights.

I have a 68 myself but I would have to say my favorite would be the 72 GMC.
First year for disc brakes and many more options. Not much for the 72 Chevy grille though. Don't like all of the plastic. I used to have a 72 Sierra Grande fully loaded with tilt cruise and even a factory bed mat. Got in a fight with a telephone pole. I am going to call it a win because I split the pole in two and still drove the truck home.

I love the 67's, as my first vehicle was a 67 Short step, that my recently deceased brother gave me ( I sold it a long time ago and now that he is gone I really regret selling it). I have a replacement truck of sorts, which is a 67 CST short-fleetside, which means it has the big back window, as well as the buddy buckets and the upgraded 5 lug with disc brakes. If I had it to do all over again I'd have a 67 short step and this one, but not with the small window as it was terrible to see out of with the blind spots. I also have a 72 Blazer that I am treating to the 68 clip treatment. I guess you could say my brother infected me and any of the trucks, burbs, or Blazers from 67-72 that I own will have the 67-8 clip, but with the 5lug(2wd) or 4wd 6lug disc brakes, as stopping is key to keeping that sweet slanted 67-8 nose nice and straight!!

I like the looks 67 SWB Chevy body style best. It has the cleanest body lines of the 67-72s IMO. But the later years had better braking and more drivetrain options available. So I guess a 67 with upgraded chassis or a 71-72 with 67-68 front clip and shave markers would be my first choice.

I like the 68 short step because thats what I got and the grill looks awsome. Going to convert to disk brakes and power steering from a 72 parts truck. Also have buckets and console from a 72 that will be recovered in houndstooth. Can't decide on tow hooks for now(72 only or 67-68). I almost forgot: A truck has to be four wheel drive.
