Re: Whats the name of your project???
The guys at work call my 68 GMC "franky" due to all the various pieces from different vehicles which have gladly donated pieces from themselves in order for mine to live!

I call mine the Red 72 *****. It likes to fight me all the way and I know somewhere that my truck has to be female, if I treat it right its a great truck and don't yell at it when I work on it.

Re: Whats the name of your project???
My project is what it is! The "Black Draggin project". Satin blackpaint, satin black dubs, and bagged on the black asphault with nothing but sparks behind it.

Re: Whats the name of your project???
My Mustang is named Blue, sometimes referred to as the Stangulator. But the project (the build) is called Project Illride.
I've started to jokingly refer to the truck as My Lowrider;

My 1970 2 year project is called running on empty because it runs my wallet empty, but my daughter named it the Green Lizard.

Re: Whats the name of your project???
Umm, well, the 1970 is the "Green Machine" and the 1968 is the "Red Truck" and the 1988 is the "Black Truck". Not real creative, but descriptive I guess.

Re: Whats the name of your project???
My '67 is called "Deuce", named by my wife when I still had my '03 Silvy since it was my 2nd truck. Kinda stuck even now that my silvy has been sold.

Re: Whats the name of your project???
Well the '68 C/10 stepside is [obviously] "Orange Sunshine." (It used to be agent orange.) The '71 GMC Jimmy, I call "Blue Thunder," because the PO had cherry bomb glass packs on it when I bought it. The old '67 K/10 Suburban I called "White Fang" since with a 454 it was eating me out of house and home on gas. And my '72 Blazer parts truck is "Project: Phantom of the Junkyard" as it will require pieces of other trucks in order to live again. So far I have accumulated a dog house and roll bar for it; a 465/T221 gear box; a 292 core and 292 4x4 engine x-member. Think it will either have a soft top or a half-cab top.

Re: Whats the name of your project???
My wife named the truck Old Blue. I personally call it several things, mostly four letters long and not family friendly.

Mine was owned by the Great State of Mississippi from 1969 - 1999 at the Ole' Miss campus in Oxford, Mississippi. Used in the "Physical Dept".
It was Olive Green, hence the name "Ole' Green". I've had it 7 years now and that name has stuck like glue ! ! |

my poor truck is always called "a car" or "the lazy truck" since its bodydropped on the doors. I look up into cavalier windows.

Re: Whats the name of your project???
Well I havent labelled it yet, been tossing round a few ideas. However I own the license plate BRGNRTS (Braggin Rights) and am thinking bout putting them to my 72 GMC. Its no where close to being braggin rights yet, but it will be. And everyone in my town has a rich daddy in the family or has inheirited a crap load of money so they pay someone else to do the work, hince the original reason I got the plates, cause I do all the work myself along with paying for it. My dad just calls it the Jimmy and right now I just call it the 72. I call my 89 4x4 step side Blizard, its baby blue and am lifting it soon ( kit comes in next Friday). On top of that, I always get complaints on my lights, so in general its gunna obscure your vision like a blizzard.
