Re: 67-68 GMC vs. Chevy... Which frontend is cooler?
OK I personally vote Chevy, but if someone could post a pic of Tim Christians truck, we could have a good debate. I'm sure there are some just as nice, but Tim's really stands out to me.

Seriously, though, if you just gotta deface your truck, All you have to change is the radiator support and grill. Your fenders and hood will work.

I could be happy with the chevy or chromed out gmc grill (even though I went with a 68 clip on my 72.)

Re: 67-68 GMC vs. Chevy... Which frontend is cooler?
GMC !!! all the way. The dual headlites were used on prestige cars... like the '79 Cad Seville. Back when I lived in a small farm town in Montana; GMC owners were considered just a cut above the Chev owners. The GMC dealer used to tell everyone that GMC was all for trucks; however, Chev built and sold Bel Airs, Impalas and the trucks were a sidelinefor Chev dealers....lol

Voting for both is the same as not voting at all. It's like putting the same amount of money on both black and red at a roulette table. When my wife wants to vote for the opposite candidate as I, I say we might as well both stay home. Then I sneak away and get my vote in Just giving you a hard time albert...

Re: 67-68 GMC vs. Chevy... Which frontend is cooler?
Chevy by a mile. Just picked up mine and am finding hard to work on my other trucks because I like it the best. Before I get to it I have to finish the 69 shortstep, 63 shortwide, 64 shortwide, 56 shortstep bigwindow, then the 67 Longbed to be converted into a shortwide. I guess I know what I will be doing the next coulpe of years.

I gotta say GMC's don't do anything for me, I'm glad dirtball and I have started to take his GMC frontend off, it was starting to scare me!

Re: 67-68 GMC vs. Chevy... Which frontend is cooler?
gmc gets my vote, but not 67-72s, more like 94-98. they look better than chevy during that time period only

Re: 67-68 GMC vs. Chevy... Which frontend is cooler?
My GMC is my favorite and I also own a 70K5 and my Dad has a 72 K10 when I look at the front views to compare the GMC just stands out as more aggressive the big chrome grill and chrome bumper with 4 eyes staring at you looks tuffer than the cheap looking aluminum outter with plastic inner grill. Now I do like the 67-68 Chevy better than the 67-68 GMC but most do.
