Re: 67-72 LED tail lights in stock $59
Mine came last week...Monday I think. I wanted to get them right in.
Of course on a 35 year old truck...there is an issue of rust to deal with. Mainly in the socket area. So I... http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=230420 And all is good. These are truly plug and play. Thanks Musclerodz

You most likely have a ground issue. I had a similar problem.
See this thread... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=230420

Maybe I'll just try the replacement flasher first to see if that fixes things. It should be cheaper than new rear housings.

Re: 67-72 LED tail lights in stock $59
You need an electronic flasher to replace your mechanical flasher. You will also need one for the hazards. We have had a few trucks require these with just the tail lights, but most did not. You can get them at your local auto parts store. If they don't have them, we stock them.
The LED's don't draw enough amperage for the mechanical flasher to sense the light so it just thinks a light is out. The electronic flasher uses voltage so when you activate the circuit, it automatically flashes.

Re: 67-72 LED tail lights in stock $59
Mechanical flashers are thermally operated which means the wire has to build heat to work which is something you don't want to do. NAPA should have them, I don;t have their part number though.

Replaced my flashers today with electric units from Napa, and they did the trick! Thanks everyone.

I just went to your store page and it said out of stock. Are you going to be getting more?
