since it looks like the guy is never around, you could of gone in there and had gotten us some really good pics, instead of the "over the fence" pics. But then we would just be drooling more. Shoot, for all you know this guy could of been some old man that has long since passed away and never told any relatives about his secret stash.

In a couple months that stuff will be hidden under growth and full of poison ivy,snakes,and bees.Definately a winter sport.I go through this cycle every year with a few I have stashed.

Its very sad, Not to get off subject but I found a guy like that in East Tenn and he had about half that many and wouldn't quote me a price on the 4 count em SWB '72 fleetside, two A.C. Cab/Tilt trucks until one day I went over there and he told me thescrap crusher people picked them up for 500.00 for all!!!!!!!!! Ah!!!!!!!!!

The really sad part is that the trucks are in NJ and have probably been sitting 15+ years, and I see a lot of broken/open windows. Between the snow, rain, humidity, and sitting on moist grass there probably isn't a lot of great sheet metal left.

My dad had a collection of about 10 of these trucks in the woods of NY and after 10 years of sitting there wasn't much of anything salvagable on them. They all went to the scrapyard.

I don't want to stir up the hornets nest too much on this with the town. This stuff has been local legend around here for some time, almost like the jersey devil. There are quite a few guys around here that would like to get their hands on this stuff(including me) and like I said before, the NICE stuff is supposed to be in the building. I have a buddy of mine that I trust working on getting me a name/address so I can start my search. I figured the worst he can say is HALT OR I'LLE SHOOT! lol...

Oh, btw, 1lowdiesel, it's about 10 minutes from the show you broke your u-joint at doing the burn out b-4 the high/low...

I know of a '34 Ford cabriolet convertible (roll-up windows in the doors) rumble seat roadster that was driven (not pulled) out of a shed behind an old mobile home down here about four years ago, and onto a car-hauler trailer.

It sold for the huge sum $ 300.00, and the seller was thrilled about having "taken" some damn-fool Yankees for such an old junker. "Why that upholstery & fold-down top was all in rags........"

Fact -- Not an urban legend. I know the neighbor who lived across the street, and none of us knew that car was in that old shed. The old boy sold the car because the neighbor I knew was pressuring him to tear the eyesore shed down.

Where am I when deals like that happen ?????

They're still out there in the weeds & the sheds. You just gotta find 'em.

OK I rent a helicopter and canvass all of central NJ---better yet, I put out a bounty to local pilots --$100. to the guy who see's this collection!!

Know a guy with 3 blazers, one is a 2wd--all full or cat crap, rust, etc.

Another local guy with 3 57 belairs---2 are convertables with trees growing through them---"not for sale" sign on the fence. He will probably wind up dying with his kids selling them to the first guy coming along with a $100. bill.
There are lots of stuff like this still around if you ask and look. Unusual in that someone would collect K5 Blazers as they are not exactly hot on the restoration market like tri-5's ~~~hummmmmm
Go over there looking pitiful, bring your girlfriend looking especially hot and have her act REAL FRIENDLY---you never know, you might be able to get a deal trading the trucks/blazers for a girlfriend that is getting boring!!!hehehehe

it actually looks like one of the collections that have been on evil bay...go to wherever you pay property taxes with the address,,but be prepared to hear im not selling..somebodys dad has been collecting it for yrs, not a one of them have probably been driven inside of the last 15yrs. i do get tired of hey im going to rebuild them,,or im leaving them to my kids..id love to get my son and daughters old trucks,,but they all want ricers..so they can get there own junk.. oh wqell,,let us know when to come help you haul it all off..i want a 2wd blazer...
