Mean Green...just ordered by BBC drop member. Did you hit any unseen speed bumps when installing the member? Anything on the truck you have to modify that you weren't expecting?
Thanks! |

Hey Meangreen, your back wheels looks pretty deep (sick), do you have a stock rear? If so, can you post your wheel/tire specs pls?

Frizzle, yes my rear end is stock, the wheel is a 10x20. The tire is a 255/35zr20, I had to widen the bed 3in to make the wheel, tire combo fit. I didn't want to go with a narrow wheel, so i got the 10in wheel. |

Re: Xmas In March, Thanks To Porterbuilt.
Today was power rack day, is not polish or chrome, but maybe by the final Assembly it will. I also got the header in place. the truck sits on its frame, and not on the rockers. Wish is what I want it, so far everything is going on like butter. You gotta love the craftsmanship on the crossmenber, everything fits perfect on it.

Re: Xmas In March, Thanks To Porterbuilt.
Meangreen,
Your truck is looking good! I'm playing catch up to you, I got my Dropmember, my Art strongarms, and my spindles on. Now i just need to install my power rack. Then I can do the rear. Did you just cut up and bend a standard c-notch? Was it a 10 in.? I think I need 11 inches to lay on 22's. I'm going to order a Kp notch after I work some more overtime! Keep up the progress because your motivating me to work on mine! Again lookin good! Tony from Norcal |
