Re: Possible Soff Seal Group Purchase

No offense buy why don't you post your prices for the group purchase? You should give everybody a Great deal from doing your buy in this way and I have done the same thing on seat covers once but I did post the prices for everyone to see.

Not a bad idea.
GMC Paul's prices beat the 20% off list you state.

Re: Possible Soff Seal Group Purchase

Are you using the board to get up the minimum initial order to get started with Soff Seal?Or,to start up with a better pricing tiier? That`s how it appears to me.If so,I think these parts should be sold at cost,IMO.
If I`m wrong it wouldn`t be the first time, and I apologize. It does seem wrong that this is a "potential" sale transaction with the price conceiled. It is obvious, from what is seen on the thread, that price is dependant on quantity. This is where I came up with my assumption.

GP's pricing is usually below what the minimum advertised price allowed is so prices can't be posted publicly. I don't need this GP to get the best pricing out of Soff Seal, the buy-in is not that much. I did this as a market survey as to wether i want to add Soff Seal to my product line up and to give back to the board for its support. I could have just added the product line to my website and not made this offer.

I have a friend form another forum that his entire business is GP's and you won't find a price on any of his GP's. If you want to look it is www.gpsuperstore.com

This is not a done deal, so nothing for sale yet, so I have no final price to post.

Denny, weatherstrip can be bought cheaper elsewhere but the quality is not the same

All of our rubber weatherstrip is backed with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer also and we've never had to warranty a single piece yet and we supply several profesional installation shops & glass installers who state they would never buy elsewhere. Plus our manufacturer's truck rubber seals are GM restoration part certified. Sof-Seal did a great job marketing there name through Super Chevy Shows where they are a sponsor so only Sof-Seal products can be sold at Super Chevy Shows and a national market blitz over the last 5-10 years and with them requiring Dealers to Only sell at there suggested retail prices or you lose your wholesale account if you sell below retail so iof he posts prices below retail he loses his ability to sell but product if sof-seal discovers this is my understanding, but that does not necessarily mean any other product by any other manufacturer is of less quality just because there manufacturers do not require all dealers to sell at suggested retail. Our suggested retail is $286.02 for a complete Cab Rubber Kit, but because we are not locked to manufacturers suggested retail prices we can instead sell the kit for $180.00
Nothing againest sof-seal quality, never heard the first bad word about it really but the price protecting inhibits anyone getting a deal through there dealers.
