Re: FS: 1969 Blazer-Great Project
While you may not like the Ebay option, there's a way to do it right and get somewhere around what you were originally asking [$3500]. I've sold 12 cars and trucks on Ebay out of 13 listed [I pulled the auction for my own truck when I realized the market wasn't going to support the price I wanted]. Even sold two that weren't even in my state via pics sent in emails. All of them were special interest musclecars or trucks. I sold a Blazer for one of the members here that wasn't in nearly as good a shape as yours for $2500 in less than 72 hours.
You are right on track with describing everything factually, few others do that and on Ebay it's what the pros do. Last one I sold for a friend had 14 pics in the auction and 52 on another page I built for him and linked from the auction to go with a very detailed description. The fees aren't bad....less than $100 regardless of sale price [around $92 average]. Sounds like you need a quick sale, so I'd think about it fast....you got about 2 weeks until tax time ads start up. From then until the second week in April, it gets a bit harder to sell there. Let me know if I can shed any light for you.
