While it may not be a Hot Rod......I like it...

The first picture (truck on the trailer) is when I bought the truck on October 14, 2006 the second picture is as it sits today. Still working on some interior issues, but it is comming together.

Thanks I want to work on the antiroll bar to get it to leave with the front tires equal! I'm lucky its not bent up! I left like that last night on a quartermile pass and the track locator bracket broke off the rearend housing! Lucky for me a buddy brought his portable welding rig to the track and fixed it!

Cool... And I wouldn't call what you have junk. It's just a different class of truck. I bet you have as much work into the chassis and drivetrain on your truck as a lot of us do on the shiny side of ours.

So exactly what is a hot rod truck??? It seems to be pretty personal. There are a lot of different styles that have been posted here all of which I like for different reasons. Here are a few pics of mine.

New tranny is reverse pattern I kept throwing it in neutral about 60 ft out... put it in high gear and ran out the big end. never did get it down the track 1 2 3... I did it 6 times...ouch.. looking at the time slips i think it has an 11.80 in it... If the retard driver can shift it... im thinking shiftnoid..

Not a 67-72, but since ya'll are posting drag trucks, I'll post my brother's 78 GMC. His best time is a 11.98 @ 112.11 -- 7.58 @ 92.86 in the 1/8 -- 1.71
60' on motor. He has a 150HP Nitrous Works Plate system, but hasn't ran it with it installed.
