Re: Finally got them -- Coys C5 wheels
That thing sounds and looks like it is really coming together. Can't wait to see more of the build.

Re: Finally got them -- Coys C5 wheels
That is kind of hard to say. You have to have a starting point and then decide what you like or dont like about what is already there. The width of the rear end is also a fator. Some of the 70 models were narrow and some were the wider version. Do you want the same size front and rear so you can rotate? I can help you out with a little more info.

Yes. Early Classic 4/6. See signature for specifics on the American Eagle wheels in the picture.
If my math is correct, the Coys should tuck .25 more than the American Eagles without the use of spacers in the rear.

I don't think I've seen anyone ask but what size is the lip on those new rims?

Re: Finally got them -- Coys C5 wheels
2500HD,I may be getting the rears for mine soon...........I blame you!! LOL. The ones I am looking at are the grey centered C5 with 22x8.5 frt and 20x10 rear. I am thinking my truck will go lite metallic green OR Graphite so the wheel will look good on either.

2500HD----
I cant tell, but would your truck tuck wheels/tires if it was bagged? It's hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like the tires are right at the edge of the fender well. I'm trying to decide if I can get the 5" or if I need the 5.5" to tuck 315's out back with a narrow 68 rear. Last edited by 68laydout; 02-27-2008 at 03:11 AM. |
