Does anyone know a good solution for the light switch and the wiper switch?
I would also like to know how and where to place the warning lights.

If you look at my pics the two holes in the lower left are for the wipers and the headlamps...

I have seen that, but i want the switches completely of the panel like in the fist picture, that yellow one. The switches wont be a big problem but the warning lights are.

Here's my finished product:

I used a billet specialties gauge layout (only $50) to give it a better look and then cut out the glovebox door for my gauges and installed and wired them. I did add LEDs for signals and high beams while I was at it.

As for the headlight and wiper knobs, if you look through my steering wheel onto the lower part of my dash you'll see toggle switches and the knobs for those two switches. What happened is when I smoothed my dash I relocated my heater control to below the dash with a custom panel and the radio to the heater location. Well, I now have a smooth firewall and a custom heater so I cut out the controls from the heater control, made a brushed aluminum panel for the inset and drilled holes for my switches for headlight, wipers, reverse lights, heater, dome light, interior neon, and air compressor shutoff.

I then finished off the edge of the gauge panel with some chrome trim designed for door edges and that blended with my door panels.

Here you can see where I mount my switches before I reinstalled them.

The gauges look GREAT! Can you post a pic of your whole dash when completed? I thought the GMC across it was pretty cool, never saw that before.
