Re: Drip Rails Finished!

I did buy a cab from you. This is another one I had before. The one I bought from you is next for my son. I'll do it the same way I guess.

You built that camaro? Wow,
I remember seeing it in a Magazine? Can't rememebr which one.
Was it at Morgan Maclure?(spelling) in Meadowview, Va ? I remember telling myself i wanted to go see it in person because I like the stance and over all look of the car.

Re: Drip Rails Finished!

Yes it's a wheelbarrow. The Camaro was in several magazines years ago as well as Dream Car Garage. Here are a few pics! Thanks for the comments!

Re: Drip Rails Finished!

I got a Vintage Air unit to mock up with before I mount the windshield wiper motor. Had to play catch up on everything else this Saturday! Maybe Sunday afternoon I'll get on it.

Re: Drip Rails Finished!

Look-n good! I plan on the same wipers set up for a welded cowl to cab I will be doing. By getting rid of the air intake are it sure gives you allot more room for electronics and heater/AC to be tucked up nice and tight. Are you leaving the vents in the cowl or are you going to shave them off as well? I also like how you have the tubes for the wiper arms pocking out of the cowl, for my set up I will shave the dished area below the wiper arm so their isn't a catch basin for the water then I will weld the tube to the cowl panel with just enough sticking out so the arm head won't hit the paint

PS I like your cab dolly!

Re: Drip Rails Finished!

Yes Kevin I plan on shaving the cowl when I get there. I bought a set of plans from you, I changed it a little as you can see. It works great. I made some short jack stobs to insert into the bottom tubes to keep it from rolling around while working on it!
