Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech
This is one of the best train wrecks I have read in a while, My co-workers are wondering why I am laughing all by my self again. We should just give him the $300.00 for the priceless humor.

Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech
you know when your driving up to a wreck? you see the lights and the backup of traffic. there IS a detour that will take you around the mess BUT you have to drive past the carnage and witness for yourself.
kind of feeling that way right now.... avert your eyes fellow pedestrians, it's too horrific to witness...... |

Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech
The auto tech teacher said he got tired of going behined people that worked at the dodge dealership in whiteville. The guy worked there for almost 15 years and then went to work at whiteville high school he choose to work their because he has a daughter thats in primary and he is off work at 2:36 in the evening and has the whole entire weekend off. Today in class I had to use a fluke to test parasitic draw and the light from how many ohms it had when its cool and when the bulb was hot and measure ohms and then as the bulb cooled the ohms would go back to the way it was when it was cool.
Then today when I dozed off for 20 to 25 minutes in geometry the teacher caught me sleeping and was calling me pingloo family dollar zero for you and then I thought about cussing him out and get sent home for a few days to learn "my lesson" I would sleep til 8 or 9 then mess around town if that would have happend. Every single morning he walks up to class and me and a bunch of my buddies start saying boom boom boom and then ello cause he can't say hello and then we start shouting pingloo and we can say the F word or some other bad word and he will repeat it like a parrot. Its real funny cause he has that weird accent.

A noid light is a small testlight that you plug into a fuel injector plug to see if the computer is firing the injectors. It will flash while cranking the engine if the injectors are being cycled by the computer.

Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech
Ahem! (getting on soap box now)
I started thinking about this thread while I was working on my truck earlier and suddenly had an epiphany. I AM WAISTING MY TIME WITH 70' GMC!! I realized that several people have tried to help you, to no avail. Members have even offered to assemble YOUR truck with FREE parts, but to no avail. Members have offered advice and guidance as well as mentoring, but to no avail. Then this thread comes along and YOU blatantly throw your total lack of respect for elders in our face. YOU are obviously too immature to understand the ramifications of YOUR actions. YOU will never listen to the sound advice that this board can and would give for free! YOU wonder why others make fun of you, you get our pity, then show your arse by making statements about making fun of your teachers! Who get paid next to nothing to deal with punks like YOU! I for one am through with you 70'GMC. I will not attempt to guide you anymore until you can show a little dignity and self respect, as well as respect for others. Fix your own messes, handle your own problems, and learn to grow up. Keep sleeping in Geometry and you won't have to worry about using it. You can continue to work at Family Dollar and use pictures to put products on shelves. I apologize to others for this rant, but I just could not take it anymore! Thank You! (stepping off soap box now)

Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech
Whats geometry for and do you use it??? I can't help it with my geometry teacher everyone that has his class picks on him. Construction tech and drafting and auto tech is something that will help me. The only reason why I chose family dollar was because it was close to school and can walk back and forth to work like I did last year from school to work and it was convienient and at work I act a lot differently than at school. Last year I did not have nothing to drive but the old GMc and the tags were dead I rode the bus and hate to this day. I like my job cause I don't have to work till 10 and 12 at night 5 to 9 in the evening. My auto tech teacher is pretty laid back and so is drafting and construction tech 2. I thought about becoming a computer technician good easy money. I had to fix computers at school and take them to teachers that needed one or three computers. The auto tech teacher came from the dealership and he was the very best mechanic they had. I guess the auto tech teacher must really enjoy his job.

Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech
hey kid... I AM an auto teacher so I do take things like this personally...
the kicker here is that we give him all this info for free, AND we are all going to have to give him our tax dollars as well to pay his welfare and food stamps once he is forced out of high school at age 20... I also agree the moderators need to shut this one off, and i'd even ban him... --Mike

Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech
hey 70 gmc.i'll bet you that,as long as your truck is street legal,i could make one magically appear using your truck, without a store in sight.if you plan on working on cars/trucks for a living, take in all you can while you're there.i started working at a dealership right out of tech school, and what i learned there sure didnt hurt.
and 7t2,that was funny as hell!!!!!! Last edited by BB70c10; 12-08-2007 at 04:45 PM. |

Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech
You know 70' GMC, I'm about your age and it's peers like you that embarass me. I recommend paying attention in your classes and take some English courses if you are not currently. I'd like to think I'm smart for my age. I've been a 4.0 all of my life. But I know one thing, and that is that almost every elder out there, does infact know a hell of a lot more than I do. I try to never give up a chance to hear somebody that is trying to teach me something. If you think all of that immature crap is funny now, you're going to be surprised in a couple of years when you're out in the real world. People don't find it funny, they find it stupid and as such treat them that way. Give the crap up and become a productive member of society. That does not mean working at Family Dollar all of your life either.

70gmc did you by chance try to make a direct exhaust injection system for your truck? Because the way you talk and act i think you might have.
