Re: Our 72 build pics...
After quite some delay, and breaks in the project, we have been making some progress on the build. Here are a few pics of the progress so far. We are quite excited to get it started and out for its first test drive.

Re: Our 72 build pics...
Neat project. So, are you leading that bodywork? If so, there's some old school craftsmanship going on there. Is it you?

Re: Our 72 build pics...
Thank you to everyone for your nice comments about the truck!!! I love working on this truck! It is a lot of fun to see it finally coming together. My grandfather-in-law and I are the only ones that have done anything on this truck, other than paint. I have not done paint so we decided to leave that to the pros.
We spent a lot of time working on the body seams trying to get them straight and even. We wanted to smooth the firewall as much as possible so we filled the channel and patched most of the holes. The drip rail was time consuming and frustrating, but in the end I think it was worth it. I really like the look of the shaved rail. More pics to come soon. |

Re: Our 72 build pics...
I love the color you chose for the truck! Forgive me if you mentioned it already but what color is that? It is the exact color I am looking to paint my truck. Looks great!
