Bringing back from the dead....
it was asked what i was gonna do since I refuse to run the plastic lug nut covers....
well, here' si what I did;


Here's how I did it, long lug nuts from Jegs. I wanted some about an inch taller, but I wasn't able to locate them anymore. I had a lead on some from about 4 or 5 years ago, but they had been discontinued in standard sizes.


Funny side note, went into jegs 5 min before they were going to close, and the guy had a hard time swallowing that I needed 1/2 inch-20 lug nuts. he insisted I needed 7/16th-20. I had one in my pocket, but his book (which only went back to 76) said 7/16-20.
Kinda p!ssed him off when i showed up the next day and told him to just sellme the friggen 1/2-20 ones.

Mt. Dew is 1.59 a liter here, and a 20 oz is 1.39. Guess which one i buy more? The only ppl who buy 20 oz bottles are the ones who can't drink a whole liter in a sitting. Sorry for being off topic. Wheels look good, I like the vette wheels better, but that is just me

I honestly don't pay attention to what it costs. I get 2 one liters in the morning on the way to work, then after work I may or may not get a 20 oz or two, and then slam cans the rest of the evening.

6 lugs are 7/16ths

Thanks for the excellent tip on the caps 👍 I had nothing better to do and ran a 1/4-20 tap through each hole. Now on the hunt for some rally wheels as I am not loving the 20’s.
