Re: PAINT??? Help me pick
#5 gets my vote, but I really would like to see it green rather that orange. somewhat unique.

Re: PAINT??? Help me pick
5 is tight. I can't imagine anyone even choosing a color combo other than orange and white.

Re: PAINT??? Help me pick
1 or 2, really like the way the all white looks, but on the other hand if u can get that exact shade of green that looks awesome!!!
P.S. if you go with anyone of 3 thru 6, try doing the upper door frame and a pillars in white as well, IMO it would look alot better. |

Re: PAINT??? Help me pick
# 5 for me too. I'm partial to white below the factory trim. Looks killer for any colour combo really.

Re: PAINT??? Help me pick
LowRodder you down in Texas, gets kinda warm down there right? Personally I would base my choice on a few things prior to dippin this classic. First off the white has a cool look that kinda reminds me of a portable snowbank, that would help keep them hot Texas rays off, being a norhern boy I tend to start melting if the temp is above 50 so cooler is definitely better. Second would be economical reasons, white is cheap...gas isn't (Don't let em fool ya, it's bound to go back up), and in these trying times...well, nuf said. Finally I have found white is easier to maintain, my K10 is White (Though sometimes that is more to do with the weather up here than the actual paint scheme), the dirt just doesn't seem to show as much on white as it does on some of the others, and so while my wife is telling me vote Orange I am casting my ballot for White!

Re: PAINT??? Help me pick
I they all look pretty good. I like three because its a good stock looking treatment with a nice green you dont see often.
No ones going to say, hey did you see that nice orange Chevy? I saw a lot of orange Chevys...which one you talking about? Did you see that cool light green Chevy? Oh yeah that thing is nice. LOL...Hows that for reasoning? |
