They were on the SWB, and I'm not sure what the difference is.

I'd love to make you an offer on that cab if anyone had thoughts on getting it from NM to MN without bankrupting me....

I was looking at a shipping site called Uship.com . Not sure how it works but it's an option. Someone responded to my ad for shipping a cab from AZ to PA for $500. He only gave me one day to respond and I have no idea how the payment works, insurance etc...

FEDEX Freight or yellow truck as well but it could be $$$. They wanted $1,100+ to go 2500 miles for me.

I used Uship.com to get a piano from Florida to Minnesota in 2005. Worked well but took months to find a shipper and actually get the piano moved.

It would be cheaper to ship it you bought the rolling chassis to go along with it, .

Re: Parting out 1967-70 SWB truck

Anyone know how much a bare cab weighs?

Rob, is the cab something you'd be able to bring to OKC or would it need to be shipped from Albuquerque? Either place, would you be able to help load it? Trying to track down some shipping possibilities (obviously).

I might be able to bring to OKC. It would just depend on when and where it had to go to. I can help load it either way. Are you wanting the doors also?

Re: Parting out 1967-70 SWB truck

Rod, i am headed to the Valley Aug 15, i can get the buddy buckets if I can meet up with Bad Turbo, has mahanian decided? Either way i can get the seats 5 hours closer to ya? I'll be in ALB sooner or later, i work for the feds and Alb is a training site, so i'll be there at some point!!! I'd love some of that metal but $$$ and not being able to do anything is keeping me from buying. It is torcher for me to go into the garage knowing I can't lift a wrench let alone anything else!! Just LMK, PM is probably best. BTW I am still thinking on the BBC mounts, same thing though I'd like to have them but they'd sit for a year as i'll be on the mend for that long.

We finally made it back to ABQ. When you say "valley" I'm assuming you mean the old town area. Let me know when you're coming and I'll PM BadTurbo. Just worry about getting well, they'll be more parts out there.....

BTTT...

Mike if you pick the seats up on the 15th, do you know when you'll be coming to Albuquerque?

Re: Parting out 1967-70 SWB truck

Within a few weeks (I'd guess, I am supposed to be there now and they send me there a so often?), or I am 5-6 hours closer to you than PHX is and you could pick them up here or I can meet you? Whatever is easier for you?

I'm not sure when I will headed up your way (N AZ). Albuquerque is easier for me, , if it fits into your schedule.
