Re: Hello to all..
Looks like a special insert for the stepside fenders. I've seen them in the older pickups but not in the 67-72 models. |

Re: Hello to all.. Hola a todos
GM's use of the earlier style rear stepside fenders didn't find them updating the wheel opening to correllate with the front wheel opening. I know it' a minor point, but we do get anal here...every now and then.

Re: Hello to all.. Hola a todos
You have great taste in vehicles. Owning a '69 Camaro is a dream of mine too, along with a '69 Chevelle, 70-72 Monte Carlo, '58 Impala, 55-57 Bel Air, 37/38 Chevy coupe, I could go on and on about the classic Chevy cars and trucks I would like to one day own.

Re: Hello to all.. Hola a todos
Hello and welcome.
I really like seeing the foreign-built versions of the things we take for granted. There was a thread some time ago about some trucks/vans with a totally different body, I think they were from Brazil? Of course there are the ones built in Austrailia too. Here is a modified picture of your truck/van with bigger wheels and lowered as you suggested. |

Nice truck! Could you tell us more about the scoop on the hood? Is it functional?

Re: Hello to all.. Hola a todos
Interested in how the disc swap goes. For the back? rear axle? There is a member that makes brackets for camaro calipers but I don't know if they would fit 6 lugnut rotors.

Re: Hello to all.. Hola a todos
I will find brackets with manual brake. The parts of camaro are difficult to achieve here in argentina, but anyway thanks.

Re: Hello to all.. Hola a todos
Those are standard south of the border tail lights.
Hey sebas213 - If you do get/find a V8, how hard is it to build an engine like that down there? Do you have access to machine shops that can do work on it, and are you able to get other parts for them easily? DLB |
