Re: 70 gmc
.....and now a question for you. Are you getting all that whine out of that little belt or does your truck have a gear drive too? Seems like a lot of noise for the width. Also, is that orange "Hugger Orange"? 1st gen Camaros came with a similar color and I love it! Keep us posted.

Re: 70 gmc
no gear drive prostreet. I had one in a camaro i had and swore i would never run one again. To me they sound cool but finding a noisey lifter or exshaust leak is a pain. Its all blower. Now i did video it with a cheap camera. it sounds much better in person

Re: 70 gmc
Holy ****.............. looks like you dropped a vavle.
You just potentially ruined a block/head/crank as well as the valves/piston/rod. You going to magnaflux the block/head? I couldn't see how the head wouldn't be cracked all to hell but the block could be overbored and steel sleeved maybe. I have 2 steel sleeves in my 4x4. You can probably have the crank straightened if it didn't flat spot that journal................... bum deal man!!! Last edited by highperf4x4; 10-25-2009 at 09:39 PM. |
