31 X 16 X 15 MT SR Sportsman radials
They were are as wide as possible to fit without ditching the stock frame rails, and still tuck without trimming fenders.

Re: '68 C10 Short-Step 6.0 + TT swap
Thank you!
Scoti - Thanks for the bumper pics. I think that will wait until I do a real resto on it. For now, I am going to rock the PRO FARM look! Side note, for whatever reason, my oil pan wouldn't clear the front cross member. Even after swapping to a F-body pan, it still touched (I used ECE LS1 towers & mounts). SO...had to pull it out and move it back about 1.5". No big deal since there was plenty of room. Now to install the tranny, and measure up for the driveshaft. Thanks for the comments guys.

The truck is looking great. The Cadillac CTsV pan works great with the ECE motor mounts. If you look at my suburban build page, it shows a lot of pictures. If you have an particular questions, let me know.

that suspension looks amazing, nice dimes on the wwelding, and as for the tirees, not quite wide enough great job so far, now get out there and get her running.

Re: '68 C10 Short-Step 6.0 + TT swap
Thanks again everyone.
Sour - the 4-link is 100% fabbed. I agree the tires aren't as wide as I would have wanted, but I didn't want to cut the frame. Hindsight...well, we all know what that looks like.

Re: '68 C10 Short-Step 6.0 + TT swap
Well, how about an update???
Brown Santa came to see me this week: Also got 80lb injectors, custom spec'd turbo grind cam & misc other stuff too. I also got away from twin turbos, and will use this larger single. It will be a front mount. Pulled the motor, honed .005 over and went with Eagle rods and Weisco pistons. Worked the 317s over, fulled ported & polished with Patriot Dual Golds. Ported Vic Jr, the Vic elbow and the TB too. Caddy lifters & SFI rated balancer too. Man I am getting stoked about this thing again!

Thanks guys. Yes it has been too long, but I have a 7 month old son, so that has been slowing things down a bit.

Re: '68 C10 Short-Step 6.0 + TT swap
Well, got some time off, and made some progress:
Built motor is in. Pulled the old fuel system and upgraded for the new power levels. 10AN lines to supply the fuel rails and new 80lb injectors. Intake is on and throttle body is hooked up. Radiator mount is done & installed. Changed the front drop from 4.5" to 5.5" and installed new drop shocks. Almost forgot...

Love the look, gonna be one hell of a sleeper. What year are those impala fans? they fit pretty good.

Re: '68 C10 Short-Step 6.0 + TT swap
Late 90's I think. Turns out they won't work with my new radiator, but they fit well on the stocker. I ordered new fans already, so I will probably sell those.

Re: '68 C10 Short-Step 6.0 + TT swap
OK, here goes nothing (literally)...
Found some issues with the motor, and had to pull it back out. Kinda a kick in the balls. In the meantime, I decided to ditch the flipped factory manifolds and we are going build a set of turbo headers for it. Just need the motor back so we can stab it back in and resume fabrication. Like I said, nothing worth while going on!

Re: '68 C10 Short-Step 6.0 + TT swap
main & rod bearing clearances were way too tight for the HP I am shooting for. Good thing I didn't run it & beat on it, it would have ended with a ventilated block.
