Re: need help with the rules
Thanks, info gained and a bit of the next overtime check will go towards becoming a supporting member.
Since joining the board I had wondered what was required to be a supporting member and never took the time to search out the info. |

Re: need help with the rules
This site has become my home and, in fact, so important to my daily relaxation that when annual membership comes up each year,
my dues are not only a contribution to the site but also a huge gift to myself. Let's put the cost of being a site supporter in perspective… Let’s see now, I’ve been a site supporter for 3 years. If calculated in value per hour, at one hour per day. (who am I kidding here… I can spend all day on this site..), my cost is $0.0037968916114007998784994684351744 per hour. That’s not 3.8 cents per hour…its 3.8 cents per 10 hours. The value is mind boggling!! Now let’s add the perks. Social events I’ve become involved with, new friends met and unmet, parts and knowledge… The list goes on and on and it’s all targeted to my specific interests! Whew! I rest my case.

Re: need help with the rules
I grew up on little league, sesame street, farmin' folks, and winter snow. Much of that is being lost in the shifts in the focus of our society; although many of us still know the value of a hard days work and earning what you take, many of us now grow up to believe we are entitled to what we please by simply existing. It's sad, and I appreciate that this board is not like most.
The biggest problem I see with the screamin' type is that the internet allows people to be largely anonymous and they never have to face a man and say this kind of crap. I can guarantee that if you were standing at a small town cruise in and said "wah wah, cry baby" in response to someone telling you to shut your weasily mouth, you'd get your @$$ kicked on the spot. I'd do it anyway. Great board, guys!

Re: need help with the rules
No worries about that! Heck, just the fact that you made a post to ASK if it was OK or not is worthy of a reward or something!
Welcome to the board, clean out your brain, and be ready to fill it with some good new knowledge! It's good to be blue.....

Re: need help with the rules
hugger... again, DON'T feel that you have to spend any money. That's not what this place is about. Josh has made it clear that this will NEVER bee a private club with dues every year. It is your choice to donate or not.

You will find that the guys (and beautiful gals) on here are awesome and really easy-going. Don't let this keep you from enjoying all that this site has to offer and don't feel pressured to send your $$$ in yet. I have a feeling once you see how valuable the people and the information here really is... the 25 bucks is cheap! Looking forward to your future posts and questions!!! Don
