Don't trade it... even with as only a roller. The fact that it's a true SS makes the car. A title and an SS body MAY be worth that truck, but what about in ten years? Like others have said, that Nova is becoming a hot item, and it'll probably appreciate in value quicker than the truck.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm a truck guy and I like my '70 chevy.

Well I would put a price but this is not a for sale thread and I havent really put a number on it.... We all have a price in our head of what we think our stuff is worth and we are usually high.

I appreciate all the concerns, compliments and thoughts on the trade. I'm pretty sure I'm keepin it unless he can come up with the cash difference I asked for. I can find another 67-72 short wide bed around here.

Sounds like you have already made up your mind...Just remember, you may be able to replace or reproduce either of the two in the future. But the truck never came with a SS title. That real SS I.D. is worth big bucks, especially if it is a BIG block, 4spd, I'm sure 12 bolt...I have sold too many factory muscle cars in the past, only to regret later. Just trying to save you some gray hairs

I would trade my BB 70 c10 shortbed, body off resto truck for a ss nova in a heartbeat.........DONT DO IT!!! especially for a truck thats just mediocre

But I say no trade i like your Nova alot, I love Novas and Chevelles so thats why I would keep it. I say just a buy a decent truck and fix it up. IMO

I agree with everyone else, absolutely not. Even if your Nova is a roller. I fear that truck ahs a lot to hide. That is one messy engine ocmpartment. You almost have to try to have that many wires running every which way. And the air cleaner, FIRE HAZARD.

sounds to me I better keep the Nova or find a way better truck! good advice and thats why I wanted to ask! not sure how accurate NADA is or how far off it is. However,

average retail is $16,240
