Re: Finally!!! The Maiden Voyage!!!
In one of your replies you stated "I will probably put it in a few shows this summer, but I plan on driving it..." and all I can say is FANTASTIC!! By driving this beautiful truck, you will provide an excellent opportunity for others to see how great these trucks looked, and can look again. There are so many examples of some great looking trucks on this site, but I'm impressed with how good this truck looks. Congratulations on a great job!

Re: Finally!!! The Maiden Voyage!!!
Awesome truck! Love the look of an original. Makes me want to take the sportside bed off my '72 and start looking for a real stepside. She's actually better than in the show room, ' cause she was built by hand.

Re: Finally!!! The Maiden Voyage!!!
You did a beautiful restoration and even though it was a long wait the result was worth it.

Re: Finally!!! The Maiden Voyage!!!
Thanks again guys for all the good responses! This is a great board and great people.
americanmusc1e, that is an offset air cleaner. It is used on the 6 cylinder trucks equipped with power brakes. With the p/b booster hanging out there in the way, the standard air cleaner housing will not work.
