Re: Put 'em to work pics !!!
Helping out on the farm
I think overload springs would help with the tongue weight and a different stinger in the hitch would raise things a bit. But I needed to move a trailer and it did the job just fine

Re: Put 'em to work pics !!!
Forgot about this thread, Chief...
Here's a couple of the '63 workin' The first....draggin a new project home... The next two....Preparing for my oldest daughters wedding at our place... We needed some extra plant-life.....so my wife sent me to pick up her order from the nursery where she works....(Those "hanging pots" are hard to haul unless you have the "custom box" option on yer truck) The last two.....draggin home the new '63 short-step....(might need a bit of touch-up on the paint)

It is not really working here, just resting after making a parts run for the corn chopper that broke down

Re: Put 'em to work pics !!!
Man Les, I love that truck! Years ago I had a '57 1 ton 4x4 that had the utility box on it. It was an old PG&E truck. Your truck brings back alot of memories of mine. Hey BTW is Orient near Tangent or Corvalis? Reason I ask is that that's where I got my '63. You guys have all the cool trucks up there!
