this is why lowered trucks get such a bad rap. rather than spending the money to do it right, many guys just cut the coils, and pull leafs out. so their truck rides like crap. thinking they know everything therre is to know, assume that that is the way a lowered truck is supposed to ride. had they come off the coin to do it right, 90% of the time it will ride better than stock.

unless you are riding on the bump stops and your rear drivers side shock wont mount because of the leaf sprint retaining plate being in the way

Bumpstops? I thought those were my shocks!! Seriously... I have about an inch between my stops and the frame. I think I still have original shocks. Where can I find drop shocks? Will they minimize this hard bumping?

i'd say you need to remove the factory bumpstops, and install shoerter aftermarket ones. possibly even a c-notch in the frame. drop shocks can be found just about anywhere, look through Truckin magazine. if you cant find at least 15 different places to get drop shocks for your truck, there's something wrong.
