Re: Parting out 1967 GMC LWB Fleet 1/2 Ton

Chastur, Just decided i am not going to rebuild the motor, might have it sold as is this afternoon. So, I will keep the carburator which was just recently rebuilt (according to the guy i bought the truck from) and if you like will give you carb and all linkage for 30.00 shipped. Sending PM as well.

Re: Parting out 1967 GMC LWB Fleet 1/2 Ton

Very generous offer but I have to pass. I really just need the last 3 or 4" rod that connects carb to the rest of the linkage but I totally understand if you don't want to seperate.

Thanks!

Okay, thanks for letting me know, i'd rather not destroy the carrb, if nobody wants it i'll get back to and see if you still need the pieces.
Thanks, Charles

I guess maybe I didn't understand what you needed. The way I understood it.

It was #1 in this picture. and that is part of the carb itself.

any one of #2-4 is fair game. Let me know if its one of those you need.

What trans does yours have?

I'm not sure what interchanges. This one has a 4sp.

Can you measure yours or where yours goes? I will measure this one for ya.

I'm going outside to remove that drive shaft and rear springs right now.

I have a 700 trans in mine. The engine is on a stand so I will have to do some math & swag it as far as length. Thanks, Howard

I think about the cheapest I could get them to you is 150.00 shipped. Looks like 115 shipping +/-

They are 60 lbs each.

69.00 each to ship or 114 if i wrap them together

Re: Parting out 1967 GMC LWB Fleet 1/2 Ton

Leaving today for the weekend. I will be going by Greyhound to ship a couple larger items. If there is any other large items to go let me know asap. I will check this thread again before I pull out.

Thanks,
Charles

Got the steering gear in two days, installed it and no more looking like I am a drunk driver going down the road, it was even full of clean looking grease! Thanks for the part.

Sure, I will get you a pic in the morning if you like. They are OEM, Looks like they have alittle bit of wrattle can white overspray on one of em. I'll clean em up before I send em of course. No rust at all!! Switches are still there. Let me know if you need the 67 Knobs too. Cause if you dont I'll keep em.

Yes it is, If you didn't see in the earlier pics. This is a guage truck w/o AC. The harness looks to be completely untouched.

How does the exhaust manifold look? I am looking for the intake and exhaust mainfold still bolted together so that I can just bolt it onto my engine and go. (Just got to get her running.) Would you consider selling them seperately from the engine??
