I only ran the sleeves in the bottom of the front shocks...all the other sleeves were the wrong size (I think it was a universal hardware kit). You really don't need sleeves in the tops anyhow, just the bottoms.

right now, half inch, 3/4 tops. with it out of there, should be enough for no hitting, i'd say another 2.5-3 inches.

how some say they can do flip and drop shackles and NOT notch, is beyond me.

btw, soon as i land a new job, i'm signing up to be a site supporter

. thinking about selling my stock suspension parts that were taken off. less than 45k miles on them.

FAIL!!!!

well, another great thing happened today. started working on truck at 10am. FINALLY got the pass rear bump stop grinded off. what a *****!!!! went over to the drivers side, started grinding and grabbed my chisel to open it up a little when i noticed my axle dropped a little.

here is what i saw:

looks like it unraveled.....

Ouch!!! Time for new leaf springs!

The bumpstops you have on front are supposed to be for your rear C-section.

Put the right U-bolts on (those are tooo long and the wrong diameter).

A little paint on the spindles will make them look much better much longer, otherwise these will flash rust almosat immediately.

these ubolts are just for 'mock up' til my 3'' ubolts come in.

still have no idea why this happened though.

and heres my shocks they sent me, all 4 are the same.

how did you move the rear end with out unhooking the brake lines?
dont you take out both leaf springs and move the rearend up then put the leafs back in?????????????

what i did was, unbolted the leafs and ubolts, pulled the leaf out, cleaned it up, threw it back in under the axle with the flip and it was done. pass side literally took less than 30 minutes. i ran into a problem on the drivers side because i pulled the center pin bolt on the leaf because i read you had to flip it(i know).

i kept everything hooked up, the brakes, driveshaft, and was careful not to allow the axle to move any.

funny you should say that, i noticed it yesterday and tried to flip them and they wouldnt fit. guess the truck is just junk. hate this truck. hate it bad. bought ready to just sell it and start fresh on another car.
