Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
As far as the bed goes I think once the truck is finished and all of the bed is tied together with the interior it will look alot different. I could have done the smooth bed with 16 gauge steel but I felt like it is played out. Not taking away from the mod but I just wanted the truck to be different. I think once all the sheet metal is hung and the pin up girls are on the front fenders it should look cool. I am planning on running the classis instrument bomber gauges. I have performed most of the work myself with my father so I have saved a ton of money. But It has still gotten out of control. I will be preping tons of teeth to catch up with what I have invested in the truck I am also building a 66 swb for my wife,we are trying to build it for 8500 with the cost of the truck, I believe we will be sucessful if I keep it under control and do all the paint and body myself which I am planning on doing. If you guys would like to see the other truck at some point I could post some pics. Thanks again for all the feedback

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
I have two sets off 5 lug conversions with drop spindles. When I bought my wife truck it came with cpp 5 on 5 conversion. I pulled the other set from the green truck and put the modular front spindels and wilwood brakes on it so I have an extra set. Like I said in the first post I had to start over on the other truck. So I removed a ton of parts. As far as the paint goes on my wifes truck it is my own special blend. But I will tell you how I got the color. If you need the paint codes please pm me. I laid down a bright white base coat house of kolors, the I laid down kustom shops metallic gold and then I laid down house of kolors cobalt kandy blue. Again if you need the codes please let me know. This paint will be fine on a block. No worries of it flaking due to heat.
