Re: 1969 c10 the start of something fun
ok I got the clutch in and now i need your help I am looking for some shocks but the kicker is that they have to be 8" fully compressed I looked at drop shocks but they do not go that short. If any one know a way to reallocate the shocks let me know Ill post some new pic soon. I got my bed cover on and my new rear bumper on and now i am working on getting rid of the bucket seats and putting in a bench seat so i can take the kids for a ride.

Re: 1969 c10 the start of something fun
Push button starter? any pics of that? I've always thought of putting a push button starter behind the cigarette lighter as a sort of security device. Trucks lookin good, keep up the good work.

Re: 1969 c10 the start of something fun
Very nice job so far. Still no rub issues in the front, even when turning or braking?
Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming.

Re: 1969 c10 the start of something fun
No no rubbing Ill get some pic of the push button starter I put it In the same spot as the key was and moved the key out. I am going to get rid of the key all together and put in a kill switch with a custom key. I just got the truck back from getting the front end lined up and he told me if i can get it up about a 1/2 inch he could get it right on but i think i can live with it being off a tad

Re: 1969 c10 the start of something fun
HALO HEADLIGHT CONVERSION ANGEL EYES 7" ROUND
EBAY You can find cheaper ones if you look but this is what i got... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/6024-...item35a2a86e11 6024 HALO XENON HID CONVERSION KIT 7" ROUND This is a 6024 Halo sealed beam conversion kit This kit features: * 2 7"Round Diamond cut sealed beam conversion housings with Halo's * 2 H4 Xenon HID bulbs rated at 65/55 Watts, with an output of 90/100 Watts * 2 rubber covers (to keep the housings dry) * Plug and play no rewiring is necessary * Halo's can easily be wired to your parking lights, turn signals, or to a seperate switch This kit really lights up the road better than traditional halogen sealed beams. You'll notice a significant increase in lighting. Your car will light up the road like it never has before! Now you can have your car project a clean bright white light with a bluish glow just like the newer luxury cars |
