Re: Project: What the hell did I get into???
Well, Bertha (It's what my family calls the Jimmy) got a new set of shoes.. If you've known me for awhile you know I hated these wheels in the 90's. But I figured that they were the look I'm going after..
I need to take some picture of the progress I made.. It's been awhile.. Last edited by Rochlow; 08-26-2010 at 09:15 PM. |

Re: Project: What the heck did I get into???
Some progress. I've never had a truck fight me so hard as this one. No matter what directions I turn there seems to be something that doesn't fit right or needs to be modified or something stupid..

Re: Project: What the heck did I get into???
very nice! the stance is just right...and it has my all time favorite wheels on it, Cragar S/S's
I must have your evil twin step sista for a truck, this thing has been fighting me for 5 to 10 years, and over the week end it bit me again Wish I could keep my shop as clean as yours, and thanks for the pics

I think the side pipes would be cool also- I had a set on a 1972 Chevy Van with a 350, it sounded great

Re: Project: What the heck did I get into???
*****EN Blazer you nailed it with the paint, wheels and stance. Makes me want to rip the 4x4 axles out of mine and go that route, you have to dig these lowerd. Cool to see a old/new wheel on it!! Getting tired of american racing spokes and billet is dead. If it was easy it wouldnt be no fun!! Keep the focus and you will get it finished. Keep us posted.
