I refer to the street behind the Fred Meyer where I live as "the street of dreams" theres like 3 lifted Cherokees, a 69ish GMC, 3 other 69-72 chevys, and a lifted blue blazer but the last (and only) time I saw it the front end was smashed up

I had the opportunity to buy this a couple years ago when I stumbled across it and couldnt find a person willing to invest. Just a sampling of what is there. Not close to the house but not far either. I just cry every time I think about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is just the tip of the iceberg. 13 short wide beds. two subs . tons and tons of parts nos hub caps trim dash pads grills rockers on and on and on. I tried to find someone to go in on it with me and just couldnt. There were 35 trucks partial and complete in that field.

Every small town in Kansas seems to have a hugger orange LWB that is a driver in it. These vary from Chevys to GMC's but there is always one to be found driving down main st.

Now in Wichita they are all over the place I have seen 6 in the last month that are sill betting the crap worked out of them.

There aren't many around where I live. Mine is my daily driver, but I don't see any other daily drivers. My dad has two friends that own gas stations and the both have ochre trucks. The one guy has a 71 C20 Custom Camper sitting about back in his junkyard and is rusting away. Its a pretty beat up truck. Then there are currently 3 67-72s at the other gas station. Mine is down there waiting on the transmission to be rebuilt and put back in. Then sitting next to mine is the owners 72 C10. That is a pretty reliable truck, just all rusted out. Then my brothers 71 is sitting out back waiting to be worked on. My neighbor up the street had a 71 shortbox he just got rid, and there is a 69 or 70 Longhorn that just seems to sit in the driveway in my neighborhood. Thats about all the trucks around here.

I know of several trucks but no blazers or burbans theres a couple of local people who make there living off of selling used chevy truck parts mostly 67-87

It's the same truck on the trailer in the second pic . It's like the snow preserved it somehow . It belongs to my 13 yr old daughter now . Were workin' on it now ....

This summer my family took a drive out to Colorado
Man i every field we passed there was a Chevy sitting or sometimes 4 or 5 maybe even 10 haha.
My brother and I where spotting Chevy's the whole ride.
every few minutes LOOK AT THAT CHEVY!!!

good times. I got some pics also the whole ride down there.
Who doesn't get excited when they see a old Chevy truck/car running around town?
lol i guess most normal people don't.........
