Re: Red Baron

Good news. The wife has decided I can keep the 72 I come across this and had to get it to restore and go with my truck to a show later. It is a 1972 John Deere 110 mower. In the process of finding me a deck for it now. I found one for 200.00 restored about 4 1/2 hours from home. Hoping I can find something closer if anyone has any info on these let me know.

Re: Red Baron

I was on vacation this week. My body man worked on the truck some. Here are pictures where he da sanded the rust off the tailgate and then treated it with ospho for rust. Also have pictures of where he is block snading the bed and a picture where he was pulling dents from driver door.

Re: Red Baron

I removed the door panels, carpet, seats, and sun visors today. I put the main seat back in it, but did not bolt it down. Easier to drive back to the body shop! I am also posting the door panels the previous owner made. If anyone is interested I would take 500 a set for these ultra rare custom door panels

Re: Red Baron

Today at the moultrie swap meet I spent 1200.00 on the truck. I now have brand new front grill assembly, new tail lights, markers, upper molding, lower molding, 350 emblems, super emblems. Few more small things. Truck shop seemed to have best prices at show.

Re: Red Baron

I actually ended up not getting the buckets. He was a board member and refunded my money because what originally was quoted at 45 shipping, then went to 110 shipping and finally 208 shipping. I decided to just get a refund. He was very helpful and just as annoyed as me with the run around ups store gave him. May just recover the bench and put the buckets on the back burner.

I was thinking about a 2/4 drop. Not sure yet. I know that would level it out and I like the front a little lower. I may do 2.5/4. Not sure yet.
