Re: Super low-buck compressor - $19

Saw this one in a flyer I got in the mail yesterday. I think it was $55 or $59 in the flyer. It made me think of this thread.

The specs on the page are a little different then in the manual....

Just another thought on this discussion...

That's the one I'm looking for, it has CFM specs similar to the viair (23% less)... I'll have to keep an eye out for that flyer! I've been waiting for a coupon to pick it up because it's $80 retail.

This is an in store price no coupon or add needed

Any updates? I really don't mean to bash your lugnuts but this idea just simply will not work...I do however appreciate you inginuity. People's new/innovative ideas have brought this hobby to a whole new level....but again...not gonna happen with that compressor.

No updates, I haven't been to HF lately because I have midterms and ran into some other problems with my car that I've been trying to resolve. First thing I'm going to do is a disassembly when I get it, with lots of gory pictures

Worth looking at for that price?
Was $70 at my HF. I'll keep my eye peeled, I go the HF about once a month. It'll be on sale eventually.

Re: Super low-buck compressor - $19

They were on sale until the 25th. I picked one up. I have only tried it once on my 10 gal. portable air tank thru the schrader valve. It took 10 min. to get to 135psi. I think it would fill faster with a straight hose thru a check valve . 10 gal is a large tank also . When I get time I will try more testing with a smaller tank.

The schrader valve... gotta be what's slowing it down.

Honestly it was pretty easy. I think the hardest part was finding the torque order that I supplied, but other than that it was pretty easy. Just remember not to torque the tar out of it, because if I recall they are made out of aluminum and you don't want to strip out the threads.

I converted all my York stuff to PDF for those that might want a quick reference.

Sorry for taking over the thread. hahahaha
