Re: the 69'er

Well finally a little more progress. We have the wiring almost complete, the drive line and brakes are done, engine runs ect... ect.... so its pretty much down to a bunch of trim and painting the hood and tailgate.

Re: the 69'er

Check out the sweet exhaust guy did a awesome job, just what I wanted. He tucked it in the frame between the shift linkage and then up and over the frame at the front of the bed. Ill get a few more pics when I get it home and on my lift.

Re: the 69'er

I would love to see how you are working the filler into the tail light. I am almost to that point and would prefer to do it there but I cant seem to figure a way out how to do that my alternative is straight up through the bed or route it back and come in through the wheel well inside the bed...I could use some help if you figured out a better way

I cut the bed cross member and then made some bends out of 1.25 exhaust pipe and then ran rubber gas hose in the straights. Ill snap ya a few pics tonight.

Re: the 69'er

Finally got all the chrome and threw a lil sample on the door, but now I need some help. The bed dose not have the holes and I was going to try the adhesive clips but I don't know the height that the trim needs to be set at on the rear of the bed. I was wondering if someone could shoot me a measurement from the top of rear marker light to the bottom of the trim?

sweet, I didn't know you had one. Randy said he may swing by your place to try and get a template for mounting my sport mirrors too.

Re: the 69'er

ok from the top of the light to the center of the mounting hole is 4" 5/8ths". Was not sure whether I had one either but the last short bed I bought had the holes.
