No I have not but my dad and grandpa have and it over heated

whats the thermostat rated at? 190 or 200? make sure theres coolant in it not all water you gotta have a leak somewhere if it over heated

well guys and gals the lasest news is my boyfriend thought he could drive my truck and he ended up striping the colum out of it so now i have tno fix that as well so as a result Girls NEVER let your man drive you truck

It sounds like a broken linkage to me have u checked by the trans yet?

Will it shift if you line up the two "ears" on the column? I've seen it happen a few times where the column gets really worn so that "sloppy" shifting will cause the linkage to get hung up. It seems to happen if you don't shift carefully between first and second........when you pass through the middle as you are shifting up and back, it tries to move both levers at once and ends up hanging in between.

Usually, all it takes is to pop the hood and manually move the two "ears" on the column until they're parallel, then you can get back in the cab and shift normally. You have to make sure you shift carefully so it doesn't hang up again.

That may or may not be the problem.......or the fix......but that's the only thing I've seen that is similar to the symptoms you described. I hope it helps.

we tryed that and he actully broke it. have to either fix the coulm or but the shifter on the floor
