i test fit mine on the front, no go with the 1.25 rotors ,so i am looking at options now...

Can you turn the wheels with it that low?
You must have 1" wide rotors up front.
Sounds like the Boss 338 problem all over again,...

Can you grind the edge of the hub or is it like the Boss 338 problem?

im not sure what the problem with the 338 was but it seems the hub diameter is a little too big for the wheel bore with the 225.

i could probably grind it down, but i plan on changing brakes in the near future, i think it might be wiser to machine the wheel to open it up that little bit then to do another set of rotors/hubs when i get that far.

i am curious of the setups you guys have that these just bolt right up?

I think the CPP and McGaughy's 13" big brake kits work with the 338's.
So maybe they will work with your 225's.

I'm not sure of the rotor size. I went with stock rotors locally purchased. I have about 1/2 inch clearance when fully turned left or right. However if I hit a big bump while in a turn it will rub. I cruised the neighborhood making culdesac u-turns with no problems.

I just found this thread and I like these wheels. Does anybody know if they will fit on a stepside with a c-notch and 2.5" drop spindles on air..

I don't see why they wouldn't fit but the safe thing to do is check your backspacing. I'm running 2.5 drop spindles with 2" drop springs in the front and 6" drop springs in the rear.

AusTx68, Nice looking truck and wheels! I was thinking of getting these same wheels for my 67. Helps to see how great it looks on your truck. I was thinking about having another 2" added to the back side rears to make them a little wider. Can you tell me the width of the lip on the front and rear wheels? Couldn't find this on any of the spec sheets.
