Fortunately, it's not that expensive (ie, no cost!).

If you were ever up here around the same time as one of the Open Houses I can get you in with no problem.

Really cool find and the kind of story we all love to hear about. But what would you do of it was yours? Drive it and add miles to a barn find that was found with 80 miles on it? Just own it and have your friends over to look at it now and then? Trailer it around and tell everyone the story? I guess this sort of thing is for people with lots of resources that can have anything and a place to store it all. I hope the current owners get what they want, but the likelihood is that they won't make much money on this "investment".
They probably paid a lot for it because they just had to have it and thought it would bring a ton of money. Read through the treads, I think I read where the owner and his brother bought it and would sell it in the ballpark of 50k, but apparently it did not sell for 25k at auction. IMO Realistic value 10-15k, but its worth whatever someone will pay for it. Curious to see how everything unfolds with this truck.
