I know, many don't like the trim, BUT it is a Sierra Classic.

Re: gmc only

Here is some pics from a year ago.

1980 GMC Matching numbers in the truest sense (yes the rims are 16.5's... The original gmc hub caps weren't on for the pics at the time)

But now it has 20,000 miles! It's really getting up there! LOL

It has the small sport mirrors on it now and clear H4 headlights.

I want to put some nice rims on it, tint the windows, remove the bumper gaurds, and put a billet grill in (save the original for shows, etc.)

Thanks, I appreciate it! As for the specs... The front end had lowered spindles when I purchased the truck and I'm guessing they're 2.5-3" drop but I've also cut 1 full coil out of the coil springs that dropped the front end an additional 2 inches. As for the rear, the leafsprings have been flipped below the axle which equates to about a 5 inch drop in the rear. I have 15x10 rallys on the rear wrapped with BFG 295/50/15's and 15x8 rallys up front wrapped in BFG 235/70/15's. The 70 series up front are about an inch or so too tall of a profile tire to match with the 50's out back, but they're still in great shape and I ain't spending $ on new ones for now. With the front-end raked just a bit lower than the rear of the truck it's really not noticable with the front tires tucked just a little bit. Honestly, I can't have the front-end any lower right now anyway until I replace the headers underneath with something shorter.

They are late model rims, I stripped the clear coat off and sanded down the machine groves and then they were machine polished from there. I had a 67 that I put the same rim on except it was 6 lug. *They didn't have a clear coat and they were smooth, I was able to hand polish them to a pretty good shine. As far as I know these rims were not available in 77, I've always liked the looks of these rims, still can't decide if I like the rally's better or the polished aluminum. *I will say with these rims it gets a lot more compliments than it did with rally's.*
