I envy your vertical space, I'm stuck in a tiny garage right now with very limited space. Looking great and keep up the hard work!

You should have got the rear axle from the 72 also for the 5 lug rear. Good progress. I think I'm going to try that saran wrap stripping method on my hood. Especially the inside where its kind of hard to sand it.

Thanks, I'm very lucky to have a friend like Tom,
To let me build it in his shop. Otherwise, I would
be building it under the Oak tree out back

Thanks man, I would have grabbed the rear end to,
But someone beat me to it. So I ordered a set of axles from Summit,
Along with some Impala discs.

On the Saran wrap, Make sure to have a good wet layer of stripper,
And get the saran wrap on quick. The smoother the better.
Do small section if you have to, To get it all covered.

Thanks for the encouragement!

I got some of the frame done as well,
But it will be next week end,
Before I can get back on it.
Be working everyday until then.

Re: 68 C 10 stepside "My American Bulldog"

Finished up the sand blasting on the frame this weekend!!!
If I would have known, How long it was going to take me,
I might have paid for someone to blast it for me.
But I'm so glad I didn't know, Because this feels great!!!
Even after all the blasting, Two coats of primer, And three coats
of paint. Just seeing the before and after shot below, It was worth it!!

Re: 68 C 10 stepside "My American Bulldog"

Had a blast at the swap meet in Moultrie GA today.
Spent most of the day looking for parts,
Only had about an hour and a half to look at the vehicles.
Got everything I wanted, Except a radiator support.
Kind of like Christmas in November.
Also grabbed a pair of stepside fenders for $80,
I was going to fix mine, But these were in great shape.
And check to bumper.

But I couldn't pass them up either.
