Re: Operation "HILLBILLY DELUXE"

Both of you guys have excellent brown duallys. That makes me want a lifted dually on swampers more than ever!

Your truck looks awesome. Any recent updates? What motor is in it/going in it? A cummins perhaps?

Re: Operation "HILLBILLY DELUXE"

Nice truck. Doesnt look like the flatbed is going to cover the rear wheels though, do you have something in mind for that? I need to find some nice big tires like that.

Maybe you beat me to it, but your truck has the same name as my truck. I plan on lettering it on the tailgate.

What is the name of the color? I'm digging it. It's not something you see every day.

Re: Operation "HILLBILLY DELUXE"

Okay correct me if I am wrong you have 13x36x16 swampers. Is that on a factory steel rim or an aftermarket rim. Factory steel rims are 7" wide are they not. What are yours? I am looking to go with what you have for tires and rims. I love the look.

Re: Operation "HILLBILLY DELUXE"

Madcow right now it has 34x11.5 on it with the stock rim which is 7 inches...right , when i get my 6 inch lift i will run 13x36 swampers same look going with tsl's instead of ssr's those tires on it now came on the truck when i got it....anyway some people may dissagree with me but it has worked for me for 16 years, the 13x36 on the 7 inch rim will touch in the rear but whatever....bolt them on flat and air them up.....like i said havent had a problem in 16 years with the old "Their gonna rub and blow out" Thing, so will keep doing what i do, but you can buy a pair of overpriced spacers, if you look at one of those first pics of mine with the f-350 in the back ground it has 37.41.5's on it with no spacers and i have 46,000 miles on those tires so it kinda up to you on how you want to go, with a dually you just have so much room to play without spacers.

Re: Operation "HILLBILLY DELUXE"

I just had to ask/make sure you were running stock 7" steel wheels with a 11.5" wide tire now. I look forward to see the even bigger tire on it also. Go big or go home. I love it. Are you going to have the new bigger tires on this year?

Re: Operation "HILLBILLY DELUXE"

Mad man that is all custom metal work, i havent finshed the front bumper yet, and the rear one you see is mounted to the rear of the flat bed i built. I will post some new pics later....In case you wana try it use 6 inch channel for the front bumpers and 6 inch tube for the rear just practice the tag cutout on cardboard first, hate to mess a 100.00 peice of metal up, I have ...lol
