Re: YES or NO on these rims-
Those Boyd's look great. Your son as some odd taste. lol
I guess I would be considered in the younger generation @ 19, but I like the more classic styles. A nice 5 or 6 spoke rim usually takes my vote.

Re: YES or NO on these rims-
wheels are kind of expensive but easy to change.if he gets sick of them, sell em and get a new style.....but i have to agree with most everyone else, not right on these trucks. i get crap about big wheels on my blazer all the time, but ralleys arent the look i want on this one.if eveyone had the same look and the same color and the same wheels this would be a boring hobby..

Tell the boy that if he agrees to give up the wheels, you will let him get pierced and tattooed any way he likes.

Re: YES or NO on these rims-
OK- So its a no for the wheels... I talked with him last night, and explained that 22"s are just to big for the truck with airbags. He understood and agreed to find some other wheels...

Re: YES or NO on these rims-
Let him make the decision as long as he is paying for the wheels
Until then, it's YOUR truck. |

Re: YES or NO on these rims-
I took one look at those wheels and said, one speed bump to hard = warped wheel. I would stay with the wheels that are on it. But thats my opinion. wanna get rid of those old" junkyard Dogs" let me know.

However if that is what it took to get him to look into a different set of rims, Im ALL FOR IT. Anything will be a better rim choice than those. I have always said, rims on a ride are like shoes for a womans dress. They set the whole attitude of the look you are going for, and a bad choice can really ruin the entire look. (at least thats the argument I give my wife when I tell her I need to replace my 20 inch chrome wheels with some 20/22 inch billets ) |
